What the Surfboards by Donald Takayama site says about the Double Ender:

‘Donald pulled this design from his repertoire in the early 50’s and 60’s. It is a classic retro design, glassed w/volan cloth so weight stays true to the era from which it originated. So called the “Double Ender” because both the nose and tail are pulled in for speedy, overhead sections. Although this board can be ridden in any size waves, its full potential shines in waves that are overhead.’

What people are saying about it:

Nice shape.” – Rangi Barnsdall on Facebook

What a great shape that board is.” – Walter Duke Henkels on Facebook

I’ve had this board for 6 months now and absolutely love it! has full rails that seem to turn down at the tail and it’s the heaviest board I own. The Double Ender does everything in my opinion and I’d recommend it to surfers of any level. First of all it paddles super fast. It’s heavy board, lots of foam and stiff.” – Daniel Peter on Dead Pan Adventures

I’ve ridden these in the past. They are still an old school mal with soft eggish rails and flat rocker. The tail would make it better in larger waves than the Model T but there are plenty of other boards for bigger waves than this. If your thing is old style boards then this would be OK compared to other boards of this type.” – user P-co on Swaylocks

Great all around longboard and noserider.” – Island Trader Surfshop Stuart
