What the Canvas Surfboards site says about The Piñata:
‘The Piñata is our version of a pintail noserider. It’s more of a speed shape with a slightly pulled in, pointer nose and a 70/30 rail in the back foot and a half. The overall outline is pretty streamline. The bottom is fairly flat and slightly rolled to a panel V through the tail. It has a little more tail rocker than the Purchase, but a little less concave. The rails are 50/50 through the mid section and gradually turned up in the tip. This is a great board for down the line logging at point breaks like Rincon or Uppers.’
What people are saying about it:
“Lined up point breaks is where The Pinata thrives. The pulled in, flipped up, concave nose and flat bottom to to Vee out the tail mean this board is fast, maneuverable yet forgiving. Canvas Surfboards have blended the perfect combinations in surfboard design to make the ultimate point break log that will handle anything from 1′ to head high.” – Boardcave
