Stewart Tipster Review

What the Stewart Surfboards site says about the Tipster:

‘Brand new for 2015, this is the Best Stewart Noseriding Longboard ever!

Tested by Team riders Tony Silvagni and Steve Newton – both of which have been winning contests on it since Fall 2014. The Tipster has also been stylishly free surfed by our team on the East & West coasts. Bill Stewart claims it is “Beyond Clean, Beyond Classic.”

The nose concave creates lift and holds you in the pocket. The bottom is flat for insane trim speed, to carry you through the flats. The huge square tail has rocker you won’t believe till you see it! That extra tail kick makes turning easy and sets you up for endless Nose rides!!!

Use a 9 inch + center fin for holding you in while you spend all that time on the nose!’

What people are saying about it:

“I’ve always been a HUGE fan of the Stewart Regal, and have owned one for the last 6 years. When I heard about the Tipster I was really excited to see how they could make a better nose rider than the Regal. Well we’ve got them in and they look INSANE! Solid color resin tints with a sanded finish and extra glass around the fin box and and extra layer on the deck for knee paddling protection.

I was lucky enough to surf the 10’0 of a good customer the past two days and just after those two sessions I can say that they made a better nose rider. The board is heavier than the regal and feels more like a classic. The extra weight seems to help the board hold it’s line better when you’re on the nose and the deep concave offers a ton of support and stability while riding the tip!” – Pioneers Board Shop

“Claimed to be the best Stewart noseriding board ever, the Stewart Tipster Surfboard might be the ticket for a summer of fun. Tested by Team riders Tony Silvagni and Steve Newton, which have already won 5 contests since September on this thing, and it has free surfed its way in style all the way up the East and West coasts. Bill Stewart claims it is “Beyond Clean, Beyond Classic”.

“I believe the Tipster would be best suited for the beginner to advanced surfer. Although its especially geared towards the nose riding die-hards and those who want to push the limits of their tip time. Perfect summer time board as it will excel in ankle to shoulder high waves.” – Tanner on Island Surf Company
