Firewire Creeper Review

What the Firewire site says about the Creeper:

“Shaped by the style master himself. Rob Machado has created a low entry rocker, 70’s inspired board coupled with a curvy fuller outline in the tail to allow quick direction changes yet still provide effortless gliding. Whether you are driving off the bottom or setting some serious high lines, you’ll be sure to do so with Rob’s nonchalant style

The combination of a lightweight EPS core, sustainably-grown Paulownia wood deck skins, Firewire’s proprietary parabolic rail construction, and an Entropy bio-resin hot coat yield an extremely lightweight, durable surfboard with ALL of the high performance flex characteristics of Firewire’s existing technologies.”

What people are saying about the Creeper:

“The Creeper looks like a board that could get you into average waves easily and surf decently–and while you’ll never surf like Rob, a board he designed with fun in mind might just be the thing that makes you have more fun. And that’s the point of it, right?” – Alexander Haro on The Inertia

“Really happy with the Creeper. Smooth, loose, stylish and a real glider. It is attached to the wave due to its thin rails and it gives you a lot of feeling. It catches everything being a 5′ 6” and I can get through sections really fast. It´s what I was looking for my surfing style. Really motivated!” – customer Alexander on boardshop.co.uk

“I’ve ridden a 5-6 Creeper a few times and it’s the weirdest board I’ve ridden. To describe it in a few short words…It rides straight and fast… No matter what fins are in (thruster or quad, I though quad actually dragged a bit), contrary to what you would think. It definitely gives you a DIFFERENT ride. The creeper does paddle remarkably well, the 5-6 felt like a 32 L board. I don’t think I’d like it in pumping surf. When I think of Rob Machado and his style, I think of how the Creeper rides for sure.” – user AZec2310 on Firewire Forum
