Christenson C-Bucket Review

What the Christenson Surfboards site says about the C-Bucket:

‘This has been my best selling mid length the past few years. The plan shape is more streamlined than the Submariner yet fuller than the Osprey. Low rails, low rocker, and a complex bottom contour, this board can handle a variety of conditions. This is more or less the mini-version of my glider design. Great for trim and glide keeping it smooth and casual for the expert and also a great design for the novice to cruise on and gain style points. This design also rides the barrel well on those stiff offshore days and the added length will let you sit deeper than the rest of the pack.’

What people are saying about it:

I have a 7.0 C-Bucket. Guaranteed, awesome board.” – Takashi Maruyama on YouTube

I recently scored a Christenson C-Bucket tri-fin used and it is my favorite board. This Christenson C-Bucket is amazing because it’s so versatile. I surf San Francisco OB which is always shifty, a major bitch of a paddle unless you are lucky and I’ve been on 5ft-16ft faces with this and it is easy to get in, a super fun/smooth ride and very fast. It loves to move fast down the line. Get a tri or quad!!!” – user joebialk on Swaylocks

I remember riding a C-Bucket that was lent to me for a handful of sessions. It was a single fin, 7’6″. I enjoyed how well it would glide through glassy surf, and rides well in the barrel on during those perfect, offshore, & chest-high days on the East Coast. I really didn’t fully grasp how lucky I was to get to ride an expertly crafted board at hardly any personal cost.” – user LostKahukuBoy on Swell

A cruisy mid-length designed for smooth, effortless surfing in a wide variety of conditions.” – Down The Line Surf

I have a 7’4″ C-Bucket. It is probably the best board I have ever surfed. The forward volume makes catching waves easy, and the quad fin/pin tail make if super responsive. It is a really expensive board, but you get what you pay for.” – user Frank on reviewsurfboards.com
