Bing Original Noserider Review

What the Bing Surfboards site says about the Original Noserider:

‘The original Bing Noserider was first designed in 1965 by Bing Copeland and Donald Takayama for Bing Surfboard’s star team rider at the time. This classic traditional surfboard was built for the sole purpose of noseriding. The Original Noserider today is still made according to the 60s design and consists of a deep tear-drop concave for lift, 5-stringer t-band (⅛” cedar, ⅜” balsa, ¼ “ black foam, ⅜” balsa, ⅛” cedar), a red and black high-density foam tail block, 10 oz. volan fiberglass and/or competition band upon request. This model thrives in small to mid-size waves in clean conditions. This is the Original Noserider that all noseriders have been modeled.’

What people are saying about it:

This model is still being produced for a reason. Pure noseriding. The DNN locks into those noserides perfectly. However not a board to be surfed off the tail. Make sure to get the right size for your weight / skill level. Get it volan wrapped to last you a long time and to add to the classic feel.” – user Philip on reviewsurfboards.com

Always a beautiful board to have in the quiver. If you can afford to have one, do it. Function wise, I enjoy the Jacobs 422 Noserider, seems to trim through sections rather than bog out. Bing noserider, great board, if you have something else to ride too.” – user Tom on reviewsurfboards.com

Great nose rider, probably the best I have ever ridden. Will never part with this board.” – user Mike D on Surf Science

Bing Noserider – my favorite board.” – user Smokey on jamboards.com
