A barrel ride followed by a big full rotation alley-oop, that wonderful combo is featured in this short surf clip. In a fun day of chest-shoulder-high swell, Brett Barley managed to find a good air section after a long barrel.
Barley has been working out in the gym to increase hamstring strength to enable him to power through the airs. The result of time spent in the gym is evident in this footage as it represents how a little extra effort out of the water can make a big difference in surfing performance.
