Who Would Take Away Wilko’s Yellow Jersey?

After falling off in Round 3 of the J Bay Open, Current World Surf League 2016 Men’s Championship Tour No.1 Matt “Wilko” Wilkinson (AUS) is in risk of losing his yellow Jersey from the guys trailing behind him in total points. His comfortable, almost 10,000 points lead has been cut slim when Alejo Muniz took him out.

After this event, Matt will have 34,250 points.

In a Survey ran by Stab Magazine the following guys were the choices for the pro surfer who will take away the yellow Jersey from Matt Wilkinson.

Gabriel Medina (BRA)
John John Florence (HAW)
Italo Ferreira (BRA)
Adriano De Souza (BRA)
Sebastian Zietz (HAW)

Gabriel Medina, recent Fiji Pro winner get’s 29.43% of votes. Assuming Medina wins J Bay Open, he will be having 34,000 points and will trail Wilkinson by just 250 points.
