Huntington Beach will be the playground for the world’s best surfers in the 2016 Vans US Open that will kick off this weekend. Men’s and Women’s junior champions will be crowned during the event, a QS10,000 winner and the winner of Stop No. 6 on the women’s Championship Tour will also be crowned. It will be nine days of surfing competition that will begin with the Men’s QS10,000 trials event.
The QS (Qualifying Series) and CT (Championship Tour) events will broadcast live on WSL
and corresponding apps.
World Surf League has released the following schedule for the entire event.

Sunday, July 24
Junior Men: Rounds One and Two, 8 a.m.
Monday, July 25
QS10,000: Rounds One and Two (Heats 1-8), 7:30 a.m.

QS10,000: Completion of Round Two (Heats 9-24), 7:30 a.m.
