July 31, Sunday, Huntington Beach, California. Tatiana Weston-Webb is declared winner of the women’s championship tour title at the Vans US Open. A week long of jam-packed competition has ended with Tatiana winning her first CT title after defeating Malia Manuel, a fellow Hawaiian in the final.
After the recently concluded women’s CT event, the rankings have been shuffled and Tyler Wright grabs the lead from Courtney Conlogue. It was a big loss for Conlogue considering the event ran in her home turf. The results on the rankings are clear indicators of how significant the annual Vans US Open surf fest is and it’s impact. Weston-Webb now ranks 4th in the World CT after this win.
